The glory box is almost internally covered in a stunning walnut veneer - The central inlay work depicts a sailing ship sailing into Auckland harbour, with Rangitoto showing on the left.

The large inside has a lift out tray on the top - There is also a makers stamp in the top left of the inside “Alan M Murie LTD, Auckland”
